What happened to Elliot?
Does anyone know what happened with Elliot this morning on DC101? Before I dropped off Joey it was live and then when I got back to the car they were airing "Best of" and the website is just showing some placeholder image of Elliot. Dude....what happened?

Or management. The last thing I heard, they were talking about some guy asking for 2 months off work for a "sabbatical" when he was really going to jail. Then it went to commercial and said Diane would be on next with news. When I came back out to the car, it was on "best of."

They would have pulled him off the 101 website not his own....when 98 rock lost the KMS show they were off the website right away thats how everyone found out. He could have had a emergency he didnt want to discuss.

If he just pissed off the FCC that would explain his website showing him being shut up by the FCC. He has control over that site not the DC 101 site

Well it could be one of a couple things. I remember Elliot saying last year some time that if they all of a sudden went off the air, they could be changing over the radio station since Clear Channel seems to be changing a lot of stations. The other could be that last week Craig told Elliot he had a phone call while on air. You couldn't hear Craig, but Elliot's voice changed and he said Really? in a very even keeled, serious voice. They went to commercial, and then when they came back it was music. So maybe he was suspended, or maybe they finally sacked him.

His show has been like that as long as I can remember. I'm not listening to it as much lately though. It's started kinda going downhill... a lot more juvenile. But honestly, for the most part, he accomplishes what he's meant to do... entertain. I don't know. I think I'd be pretty upset if he were canned. Not only would I miss Elliot, I'd miss The Class. (Well, maybe not so much Flounder, but definitely Diane et al.) He's one of the few DJ's left that's edgy and comes by it honestly. There's nothing more irritating than a straight laced DJ who tries to sound "hip" and edgy.

It's rather ironic, I think, that he points people here for more information when we really don't have a clue what's going on...

OMG! I can't believe they are pointing people here! That's hilarious. How did they even find me?

But as far as I know...it was yanked before the wine enemas segment. It went off the air after he was talking about someone getting fired. I think the wine enema thing was a repeat. After that they went into the PJ pregnancy thing, which I KNOW was a repeat.

Elliott's dog was taken to the Vet for an emergency this morning. I have an inside source at the hospital in DC where Molson was taken. My guess is that this is the reason for the quick switch to Best-Of.

With no offense to your anonymous poster... we don't have a clue who he or she is, and I'm always a tad suspicious of "inside sources." If a vet emergency truly was the case, surely someone would have come on air to explain?

The site's been offline since yesterday. A early caller asked about it and Elliot said it'd be up tonight hopefully. If I had to bet I'd say it's albout Molson

He's probably not gone for good, but I wish he was. EITM sucks. Diane is so annoying with her "Dirt of the Day." She tries to be funny (which she NEVER is) and you have Elliot laughing like a moron to it.

Bring back the all morning request show!

Too each their own...but if you don't like it, change the station. Then you won't have to listen to it. IMHO, Diane's Dirt is one of my favorite parts of the show....but like I said, everyone has their own opinion.

I am sorry that I am posting this Anonymous but I don't have a user name and to be honest I really don't plan on posting on here much. With that being said, I would believe that something did happen to Molson. If they fired him, they would of not gone to best of. They would of gone to music. Second later on in the day they were still talking about AOR being on live with Elliot tomorrow. And also I think they would of pulled him from the DC 101 website right away like the did with the witch that used to be on in the mid day. I hope all is well and he returns soon. I hate listening to the best of at work. I would rather listen to him live.

I definitely agree that live is better than best of...especially when you've already heard it and remember it. Kind of takes the fun out of it.

The anonymous comments get screened until I reply to them or delete them, which is fine with me. The only posts I care about reading I post as friends only anyway. At some point I may go all FO, but for now it doesn't bother me.

Elliot or someone would have definitely announced that they had to jump early -- it just the way they are. Hopefully, Molson is still hanging on.

I think it either had something to do with talking about former personnel or experimenting with enemas. BUT, during the PJ segment during Best of, Donnielle Flynn was on and they fired her in early May and Flounder's voice could be heard plainly saying, "shut-up, it's why they fired you".

The website has been down due to a server issue.

Hopefully they are back tomorrow.

The website is back and updated with a new look -- which is quite nice. There is a simple apology, but no explanation for the best of. Just have to wait until 5:48 tomorrow am.

He left to put his dog down on tuseday
he was talking about on wednesday
and on wed then they had OAR live in the studio and they were talking about what happened with Elliot's dog and how he was crying when they put the dog down.

here are my $0.02 if you dont like what Elliot is saying umm just trun it off there are ppl out there that want to hear what he had to say.
